OUR STORY
The American Chinese Association Inc. - ASKME (Advancing Social Kindness & Mentorship Empowerment) is a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening local communities by empowering immigrants through education, coaching, and workforce development. Funded in 2022 and approved as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024, our mission is to support newcomers to the United States in building successful, fulfilling lives. We focus on helping immigrants-especially those from diverse backgrounds - learn English, understand American culture, and develop career skills to thrive in their new home.
Our term includes immigrants and native-born Americans who are united by a belief in diversity, inclusion, and cultural exchange. We celebrate the rich contributions immigrants bring from various countries and aim to foster a vibrant supportive community.

ASKME empowers diverse individuals in Wisconsin - especially newcomers and marginalized communities - through education, coaching, and basic education or basic occupational entry. We help people build life skills, education readiness, and advance in their communities, contributing to stronger, more inclusive Wisconsin.
